Consistent turf colour ratings start with a stable reference and, during spot checks, the Spectrum Technologies FieldScout GreenIndex+ Turf Board gives greens staff a fixed standard for the GreenIndex+ Turf app to assess chlorophyll levels and relative greenness. Use the board in frame while capturing images so readings are objective and repeatable across greens, tees and surrounds.

Constructed from aluminium at 23 x 29 cm, the board features green and yellow reference areas that compensate for changing light so the app can calculate DGCI and display a visual rating. Supplied as the board only with the iOS app available separately, it is a practical tool for guiding fertiliser and irrigation decisions on premium turf.
